Getting Started
When will CentredMe be available?
CentredMe is currently in final development and testing. We're working toward an App Store release in early 2026. Join our waitlist on the homepage to be notified when it's available.
Will CentredMe be free?
CentredMe will be available for a small monthly subscription (around £2.49/month) to support ongoing development and ensure we can keep the app ad-free and privacy-focused. We believe this is fairer than selling your data or showing advertisements.
Which devices will be supported?
Initially, CentredMe will be available for iPhone and iPad. We're planning an Android version based on demand from our early users.
Privacy & Security
Where is my data stored?
All your pain data is stored locally on your device. We don't upload it to the cloud or share it with third parties. You have complete control over your information.
What happens if I lose my device?
Since data is stored locally, you would lose your pain history if your device is lost without backup. We recommend using the export feature regularly to back up your data to your preferred cloud storage or email it to yourself.
Do you collect any data about me?
We collect minimal data. When you enable location features, we request weather data using your coordinates, but this is done anonymously through a privacy-focused weather service. We don't track your usage or collect personal information.
Using the App
How do I track pain quickly during a flare?
CentredMe is designed for quick logging. Use the floating action button to open the quick log, tap your pain level, tap affected body areas, and save. The whole process takes under 10 seconds.
Can I export my data to share with my doctor?
Yes! CentredMe can generate clean, professional PDF reports that summarize your pain patterns, triggers, and trends. These are designed to be useful for healthcare appointments.
What if the weather data isn't working?
Weather data requires location permission and internet connectivity. If it's not working, check your location settings and internet connection. You can still use all other features without weather data.
Can I track multiple types of pain conditions?
Yes, CentredMe allows you to track different body areas, pain descriptors, and potential triggers. While it's designed primarily for chronic pain, it can be used for various pain conditions.
Medical Questions
Is CentredMe a medical device?
No, CentredMe is a personal journaling tool, not a medical device. It's designed to help you track patterns and communicate with your healthcare provider, but it doesn't diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Can CentredMe replace medical care?
Absolutely not. CentredMe is designed to supplement, not replace, professional medical care. Always consult with qualified healthcare providers for medical advice and treatment decisions.
What should I do in a medical emergency?
CentredMe is not designed for emergency situations. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, severe pain, or thoughts of self-harm, contact emergency services immediately (999 in UK, 911 in US, 112 in EU).
